Carmelitas
50 caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. margarin (softened)
1 t. baking soda
2 c. oats
6 oz. chocolate chips
dissolve caramels with milk in top of double boiler. Mix flour, brown sugar, margarin, and baking soda then add oats. Pat 1/2 inches 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 10 min. Cool slightly and then sprinkle chocolate chips. Drip caramel mix over and cover with remaining crumbs. Pat slightly. Bake for 10-15 min.
